No, i've just been using water since I have a leak. Somebody said it smelled and looked like stop-leak. And it definitely doesn't smell like oil. But why would it happen all of a sudden like this?

When thing's go bad the don't always give warning they can just go suddenly. There isn't many thing's that can really cause the orange in the radiator especially if you only have water in it. Have you tried draining it and flushing it?Putting fresh coolant in the system.I would also pressure test the system and see where the coolant is leaking. Is there any kind of steam coming from the tail pipe?

I'm planning on draining / flushing when I have time. Should be the next few days. I don't have any tools to flush the system, but i'm sure I can go do it somewhere. Would autozone or discount auto do it / how much would it be? I haven't noticed any steam from the tailpipe, but i'll check again. Would that happen when the car is hotter or all the time?

Auto part's store's don't do coolant flushes just buy a chemical flush and follow the direction's on the bottle. All you need for tool's is a 3/8 drive 10mm socket a 4 inch extension a 3/8 drive ratchet and a pair of needle nose pliers.A head gasket usually blows if you run the engine too hot too long.
