The car sometimes turns on and sometimes it wont do anything. When it dose start it runs fine for a while then while idileing it goes into a high acceloration then dies and smells of gas as if it is flooded. We have changed the fule fillter and fule pump and it is doing this. Please help.

When it doesn't start does it crank and not start?Or no crank no start?Also do you have any code's?Let me know.

Somtimes when we let it sit, we will try it and it will turn on. We let it stay on but then it will turn off, when we try to start it agin it cranks but dosnt start. I will get the codes and get back to you also ill try to get some pictuers for you to look at.

When it crank's and won't start do this take two wire's off the coil pack's that are right next to each other. Then have someone crank the engine over while you watch for spark jumping from post to post. Let me know if you see spark when it won't start. Also try this when it crank's and won't start hold your gas pedal all the way to the floor and crank it over and see if it will start doing that. Let me know what code's you find and also what you find with what I asked you to try.

I changed the vaule cover gasget an plugs there was oli in them also the fuel filter now what is a coil?
