Engine Cooling problem
1997 Saturn SC1 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My cooling fan will work only when the A.C. Is on. I have check all the fuses and the relay, and they are fine. I replaced the thermestat and water pump. What else could be causing the fan to not run.

I would change your coolant temp sensor that's what turns your fan on for the engine.It's real common for them to go bad make sure you get a brass tipped one the plastic tipped ones crack.There only like 10 make sure you inspect the connector to it if it's corroded you will have to replace that too.Make sure the engine is cold you will loose coolant.I posted a diagram where your sensor is it's number 6 let me know how it goes.
