Engine Performance problem
1994 Saturn SC1 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My saturn runs good except when you go through the gears if you let it get around 1800 or 2000 or so rpms it will skip a time or two as it accelorates. If you keep it above 2000 rpms I dosent do it. Thanks chris

I would be checking ur plugs and wires see if ur plug tips are worn or the spark plug ends where the wires go have carbon. Also check ur coil towers where the plugs go on see if there corroded. Inspect ur wires for carbon or corrossion on each end. Do u have a multimeter?If u change the plugs just put in stock standard ngks don't put platnuim plugs in there they don't run right in that engine and carbon foul. Let me know what u find.

Thanks louie that was dead on. I thought plugs and wires but wanted to try this site. It gets an a Plus form me and I will be telling all my friends. The plugs were toast and the wires were not far behind.
