Hello,

i was away for about 2 weeks and had not driven my saturn. Today I drove it and when I brake I hear a "dah dah dah dah" sound. The speed of the sound depends on how fast my tires are spining. When I slow do the sound slows down. If anyone could reply and let me know what they think this maybe thatd be great

thank you

I'm going to reply, but the noise is probably gone by now. The problem is your tires. After sitting for that long they became 'flat spotted'. A long drive should've heated the tires up enough for that noise to go away.

I would have to eliminate the tires as the noise happens when it is braking. Tires would be there when not braking as well. I am more inclined to think the brake rotors (maybe drums) have some surface rust and maybe a little pulsation action going on. If it keeps up, you need to get a look at the rotors and or drums.
