The other day the car would not start but would turn over. The starter was working but would not start. After a little bit (1/2) hour or so the car started. It has been doing this ever since. The mechanic got a park neutral switch fault but says that should not be a issue cause the car turns over. The transmission was also acting up some on long trips and when we would pull over let it sit and restart it would be o.K. For a while again. So what the heck could be causing this problem any ideas would be great.

If you have the security alarm set with your key chain and unlock the door manualy with the key while the alarm is still on it does not set off the car alarm but dis-ables the ignition system. The car will crank but not start. Re-lock the doors and set the alrm then disable the locks with the key chain and the car will start.
