My car gets very poor gas mileage. ECM throws codes for MAF sensors (replaced.) It showed a high and low input on the obd scanner and upstream and down stream o2 sensor codes (not replaced). Doors lock and unlock rapidly and set alarms off. Engine rpm's surge and makes engine shake and vibrates whole car. Traction control light stays on it says service traction control the variable timing. Solenoid has been replaced. Also, sometimes when stopped at red light you press the accelerator and it dose not respond, the rpm's do not move or down it just keeps idling kind of like a bad TPS sensor. I need help so very badly to figure this one out. I am thinking it is either the BCM or ECM mabe even TPS. Spark plugs have been changed and I have got continuity through my plug wires.

Hello,

Is does sounds like the BCM is out but lets run the codes. To be sure we are looking in the right place. Here is a guide to get us started:

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken

The misfire will make the oxygen sensors look bad. Did you install new plug wires? They can have continuity and still be bad. Here is a guide to help us fix the misfire:

Please run down these guides and report back.
