1996 SAAB 900 big pothole

My girlfriend hit a large pothole in her saab tonight. She says a few bells chimed the check gearbox light came on and the car just died. The cop the towtruck driver and myself believe that there is some sort of switch or button to reset the fuel so the car will start. There doesnt appear to be any real damage so I hope it will be that easy. The problem is we cant find this mysterious button. Can you help? Or redirect me?

The same exact thing happened to my friends 1996 saab 900 tonight. We hit a pot hole, and the car just died. Then the check gearbox light came on. A tow truck stopped by, then a cop, and they were talking about finding the reset fuel button. We tore that car apart, and found no button. Crazy that its the Exact Same Thing. Same story. Did you ever solve this problem?
