If its the coil, it probably has to get hot and the combination of the the humidity and the heat is what causes the problem, you may also have a problem with the crank sensor too. And one more thing, you say it happens when you slow down, that indicates a bad idle air control valve, so you will need to have all three of these checked in order to get to the bottom of this
