Sorry for the delay in replying. Had some connection problems since yesterday.

EVAP Canister Purge Valve

EVAP canister purge valve is located on passenger side front strut tower in engine compartment. Disconnect purge valve electrical connector. Use DVOM to measure resistance between purge valve terminals. Resistance should be between 23-29 ohms at 68 °F (20 °C). If resistance is not as specified, replace EVAP canister purge valve.

Hope this it the info that you are looking for.

I don't have the DVOM to measure the resistance between purge valve terminals. However I just disconnected the electronic terminal of the purge valve after disconnecting it did not stall only sometimes shows an error of check fuel filter cap the error displays on SID do you think this is because I have a bad purge valve or is there something else. Appreciate your response its alot of help to me.

If disconnecting the valve prevents stalling, the valve could be the cause. The electrical circuit of the valve is OK, but valve might be clogged or leaking.

The error code is showing because the electrical circuit has been disrupted by the disconnection.

Instead of disconnecting the electrical connector, try disconnecting the vacumn hose and plugging it to test if problem is same.
