Smells like rubber burning and smoke comes out from under the hood then it starts losing power until I have to stop. But, after it sits or cools for fifteen to twenty minutes it goes again no problem, but ten minutes later it does it again. Someday's it does not do it at all.

Hello,

The fact that the engine gets hot and then shut off and you can smell it says to me engine overheating or the catalytic converter is partially plugged. Here are two guides to help you test and confirm the issue:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-a-catalytic-converter

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-overheating-or-running-hot

Please run down these guides and diagrams and report back.

Cheers, Ken
