2004 Dodge Neon Engine Sputter and loss of power

Hi I have a 2004 Dodge Neon and its been working great so far. Recently my car occasionally suffers from a lose of power when I drive and the check engine light comes on when I try to accelerate and I get to 2k rpms the car sputters and jerks. When I pull over and restart the car it drives fine like nothing ever happened. After driving it a few time the check engine light goes off. It started doing it every 3 to 5 days then I got a tune up done and it did not do it for a month. It recently happened again. What could be the problem?

When there is engine light, there probably engine code(s)have auto part or auto zone diagnose it for you with a scanner.
Write the code(s) in form of p0xxxx and get back to me.
