My car is the IS 3800 series and it has an rpm issue. When I drive the gauge goes from 2000 to 5000 rpm. This causes a kick in the car. It clears up after it warms up but still jumps. Also, when car is cold I have a single misfire when warming it up. I have done everything for preventive maintenance, spark plugs, etc. Do you have a solution for this problem? Thanks, Shane

It sounds like the transmission is slipping I would check the fluid level. If it seems like I am way off base can you please take a quick video and upload it here to the site?

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

I have checked my transmission oil. It is clean and full. Probably will spray the intake and go from there. Any other ideas. Shane.

You can upload a video here at the site using your phone. It is difficult to tell what's going on unless I can see it and hear it.

Lets try running the codes to see what come up

Please let us know what you find.
