If it isn't by the mirror, it is behind the instrument cluster. To get to it you will need to remove the cluster trim, then the cluster itself, then reach into the right and the module is clipped to the underside of the dash. However, before you do that, I would try a few other things first as that module is only the receiver, the body module does the real work. I would have the fobs tested to verify they operate. Most locksmith shops and car dealers will have a tester for that. If the fobs work then I would use a scan tool or a programmer and test the BCM to see if it is receiving the signals, I would also run them through the programming procedure just in case someone tampered with your car and added a remote of theirs while erasing yours, it's a common way to steal cars these days. If the reprogramming works you know someone messed with the car. If not, the scan tool would also show you if it is receiving the fob signals. If it is but it isn't responding correctly then the BCM might be faulty, which is common, or the RKE module is bad, also common. Be advised you cannot replace the receiver until you determine which frequency it is, either 315 part 13503205 or 433 part 13503204. The RKE unit doesn't require programming, the BCM however does, and you need a scan tool that can recover the information from the original before you replace it.
