Doing a conversation from air to regular strut, having hard time pushing the knuckle down to fit the new spring strut. Most connectors to the hub are so difficult to remove can you provide some insights?

Never mind I got it. All I had to do is place a piece of wood on top of the rotor and a pipe on top of it and through on top of the knuckle and under the frame and pushed down and I was able to get it on.

Good to hear you got it together. What was the problem with the air suspension? Bad struts or compressor, I know most of those systems are expensive to repair so either one would likely have me looking at conventional struts.

One was leaking so replaced it, the after driving it it was all over the place, so took it back and ordered a conventional for fraction the cost of 4 air struts. Strutmaster.

Yeah, those are not low priced regardless of the make of the vehicle. Replaced a set on a Cadillac a while back and the two air springs alone were close to $500.00
