Need to remove the oil filter adapter so I can replace the oil pressure sender. Are there 2 or 3 bolts that hold the oil filter adapter to the engine?Do I need to remove anything else to get the adapter off? Thanks

This part should be externally screwed in two the oil adapter. There is no need to remove anything. You will need a special sending unit socket to remove and reinstall the pressure switch. This part is relatively cheap to go to the parts store they don't look the part up for you and give you a location where to look for it. They also will tell you if there are any special tools needed to do the repair.

If you cant get to it you might need to remove the oil filter adapter.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers
