2004 Renault Megane engine management light

My engine management light started to flash and since then my car has been rinning rough and sluggish, all the fluids are at the correct levels yet the car still runs rough and sakes alot when sitting at a stop or in neutral, can you help?

Best thing to do at this point is go to your local parts place and have them scan the computer, they will give you the trouble codes, then bring them back to me and we can look them up for you and tell you what you need to do

hope you don't mind me adding a little.

Parts stores in europe do not scan for codes .. so you will need to take the vehicle to a garage/worlshop to have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve the fault codes ... from the symptoms your describing, 95% of the time you are going to get cylinder misfire codes ... replace ALL 4 coils (coil on plug) this should cure the fault .. this is a common fault on renault vehicles.
