How to extend ton enough length to attache the cable in left clips.

Good morning,

I attached the procedure for you and a couple of pictures.

Can you post some pictures so I can see where you are with the repair.

1. Release the park brake.
2. Disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling (See: Parking Brake Cable > Removal and Replacement > Park Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling).
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
4. Disconnect the left park brake cable (1) from the intermediate cable equalizer bar (2).
5. Release the left park brake cable from the frame bracket by compressing the locking tabs and pulling the cable conduit (3) rearward.
6. Remove the park brake cable from the cable guides.

7. Remove the brake shoes. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement (See: Brake Shoe > Removal and Replacement > Brake Shoe Replacement).
8. Using the J 37043 (1), remove the park brake cable from the backing plate.

9. Remove the park brake cable assembly from the vehicle.
