The truck listed above came stock with one tank. I am installing the rear tank. It is in, the spare is out, along with all the hardware. I did the worst thing possible and trusted a "buddy" mechanic to install it. I now have a tank there but have to buy a new front tank and have another mechanic install it. I am running into nothing, and no one, that I can find the parts for to make this a stock operating system with the selector switch inside. Is there anyone out there that I can get these parts from? No one seems to care about this older pickup. Please I want this to be a clean project and use all stock parts. Thank you!

Replacement parts for these older trucks is going to be difficult because it looks like there are no suppliers that picked up the manufacturing of them. This means we are going to have to rely on salvage yards and donor trucks to get the parts out of.

These trucks were common enough that I am sure you will find these parts, but it will take a little looking.

Plus, I always suggest that as these trucks get older and older, that you find one that is pretty complete so that as this truck starts to fail, you can just take the parts off of it. Clearly you will want one that is not nicer than the one you are driving but if you have the place to store it then it will pay for itself in the long run.

This is all assuming you are looking to keep this truck for a long time.

Please let me know what other questions you have, and we can go from there. Thanks
