rear clunking noise?

when i accelerate i hear a constant bumping noise. as i build speed it goes away.

Hello, do you hear it from the front or rear? Left or right? Most of the time when you get this noise it will be tire or driveshaft oriented. I would raise the vehicle in the front and then rear and spin the tires to make sure there are no irregularities, while you are under there see if there is rust colored dust on the U joint which is a sign one of them is locked up, you should not drive the car until this problem is fixed.
