I just recently got my radiator changed and my car still started to overheat afterward unless I have my A/C on. What can be the problem?

Hi,

If it doesn't overheat with the A/C is on, it sounds like the cooling fan isn't turning on. When you turn on the A/C, the fan will automatically turn on.

Can you tell me if it overheats at highway speed with the A/C off or does it seem to only happen if you are in stop-and-go traffic without the A/C?

Take a look through this link. It explains how the cooling fans are to work.

I need you to do me a favor. With the A/C off, pay attention to see if the cooling fans are turning on when the engine starts getting hot.

Let me know.

Joe
