Hi, I installed a new fuel pump about 2 weeks ago and sometimes it doesn't start right away. I turn the key off then back on then it starts. It seems that the pump is losing its prime. When I reinstalled the fuel line I couldn't quite remember the way to rout it properly on top of the tank and laid it on the molded channel, but then I couldn't make it reach to connect it. So I stretched it across the tank to connect it. Please help. Thanks

Hello,

It sounds like the hose is stretched and not correctly attaching itself to the fuel pump and you are intermittently bleeding off pressure there. I have included the directions from the vehicle manufacturer on the removal and installation of the fuel tank for your vehicle including how to install the fuel lines in the diagrams down below. Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
