Problem when putting it to drive

When I turn on my car and put it on drive it works fine but after 10 or so seconds it stops moving its on drive and everytime I accelerate it wont move and it wont move when I try to switch it to reverse either. But when I turn it off and on then it works for 10 or so more seconds then it stops what can be the problem of this? And is there a solution
