I recently installed a starter motor and after reconnecting my préchauffage wire to the glow plugs with 12v. I'm only showing 0 volts when making contact. The wire shows 12v until I connect to glow plug the nothing. Remove wire from glow plug I have 12v on wire but when connected to glow plug nothing. Don't understand?

Hi,

Please understand, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have no specific information on it. However, I will try my best to help.

If I understand, you have 12v until it is connected. When you check for power, likely you are using either a voltmeter or a multimeter. That places no load on the circuit. When power is requested, a load is placed on it. So, my first thoughts are related to a weak connection. If you follow the wiring, where does it lead to? Is it a relay? If so, check the connector for the relay, make sure they are tight, clean, and not damaged.

Also, make sure the engine has a good ground.

Here is a link you may find helpful when checking wiring:

Let me know.
