Hello, when the "down switch" is pressed, the windows will moved downward but with the "up switch" none of the windows will respond. I have checked the circuit breaker, it was okay. What could be the cause?
Please could you help me with the circuit diagram?

Hi,

I attached the wiring schematic below in pics 1 and 2. I overlapped them to help you follow them.

Now, first check to see if there is power out from the violet wire at the main switch when you select the up direction. That is what powers the window up. The power is sent via the violet computer data line to other windows. See attached. Remember, the power to raise and lower the window is controlled by reversing the polarity of the power supply. So, if it works down, that tells me that the wire isn't broken, but leads me to believe the switch is bad.

Let me know what you find.
Joe

All power window switches have power and ground when the switch is pressed. How does it communicate with the ECU for the Motor to function?

Apart from the ground and power, what else can be checked for?

Hi,

It's straight forward. Power is supplied via one of the two wires to the motor. The opposite wire then functions as a ground. If you have power and ground, the motor will work unless it's bad.

Are you checking for power at the motor itself?

No problem. Go to the motor and check to see if power is there. Let me know what you find.
