Noise seems to go away after driving a while. Pump and accessory belt never replaced. Leaking a bit of fluid. Best to replace pump, pump and pulley, pump and pulley and belt? Video shows removing coolant reservoir because space is so tight. Wondering if there is a way to remove it without having all the fluid leak out. Perhaps leave a bit of the hose on and clamp it off? The Taurus is a flex fuel if that make a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

If the pump is leaking, yes, replace it. However, usually it is a hose rather than the actual pump. Ford did have some issues with their pumps making noise, so I am going to recommend that before you actually go to the trouble to replace it, you should have it serviced. Basically, all the fluid is removed from the system a little at a time and new is added until the system is clean. This has worked for me on a few different occasions.

As far as the belt, it should have a serpentine belt. I can't believe you got that many miles out of it. YES, it should be replaced and make sure the tensioner is working properly. If it isn't, it could allow the belt to be loose and make noise.
