Poor acceleration

Car listed above Zetec has poor to nonexistent acceleration when the throttle pedal is pressed about 1/3 of the way down. On level ground it accelerates slowly then runs fine. On a hill, or trying to start quickly from a standstill, or using cruise control "Resume, " the engine just bogs down. Have replaced fuel pump and filter coil, fuel pressure regulator pressure switch, o2 sensor.

Hi,

We need to look at the mass air flow sensor. These engines are known for them failing. When they do, your power drops to nothing.
