I have a 1997 pontiac sunfire. I drove it yesterday but today it will not start. When I turn the key I do not hear the starter selnoid click. I made sure the battery was fully charged. I removed the starter and had it checked at a auto zone store and it proved to be fine. I do not have an electrical diaghram for this car.

Check for 12 volts at the small wire(purple) on the starter with key in crank position. If none go to Neutral safety switch on top of trans where shift cable hooks up and test same wire there if none check the yellow wire, if has power the switch is bad ( transaxle range switch) neutral safety switch. If no power at yellow wire, go under the column and check the same yellow wire, if no power there in crank the ignition switch is bad
