I am having problems with the daytime running lamp feature on my 96 pontiac sunfire. The daytime running lamps (DRL) don't work, and one of my head lamps is dim. I have been told that this is because of the DRL module, and that I will have to replace it in order to get the function back, both of my headlights bright again and get rid of the flashing green lamp in my cluster.

I have a part, but have no clue as to where I need to install it.

Can you guys help me with this?

I'm assuming the part you have is the DRL module. My sources show the location to be behind the front impact bar which is behind the front bumper. Seems to be a strange place to put it, but who knows. Also, 99.9 percent of the time, a dim headlight is caused by a bad ground to the light itself. You may want to check this out if the new DRL doesn't bring the light back to bright. Hope this helps.
