A week ago I picked my car up, which had sat for about 3 weeks, and it didnt start. The car however would start by spraying ether or gas into the TBI. I check fuel pressure, good, but there was no fuel being delivered to the TBI via the injector. I checked the injector and it read 1.7 ohms. There was 12 volts to it. I desided to replace it, now it works. After replacing the injector the car will not start with spraying ether of gas into the TBI. I think that it may be flooded. When I disconnect the connector for the injector gas still sprays out, which to me doesnt make sence. If I pull the fuse for the fuel pump, after about 30 sec. Of cranking the engine will slowly want to run then will fire for about 2 sec. And die. I check the pins in the fuse box for the ECM. Good. The ECM power wire has 12V. However I have not check the ground to the ECM. When the car is "ON" the "check engine light" is not illuminated. The distributor, rotor, wires, plugs all check out good. I tried messing with the timing, but nothing changed.

You must have hurt the o-rings around the injector when you put the top of the throttle body back on.

You can get new orings for about 7 bucks.

Make sure you lube them with tranny fluid this time.
