98 Grand Prix leaking coolant

98 grand prix, 3.1, 156,000 miles leaking coolant from what looks like the rear of the engine, but I can't see where the leak is originating from. I thought it may be the water pump but i'm not sure.

The 3.1 engines are known to leak coolant from the intake manifold gaskets. That would be the first thing I would check. When you say back of the engine do you mean by the firewall or the drives side of the car?
