2005 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Automatic 64000 miles

My car makes a weird noise every time a make a left turn. The noise comes from the left front side of car. When this happens the car wont accelerate as good as if I made a right turn. The noise wont go away unless I run the car for a few minutes but it comes back on every left turn. Sharp turn the noise gets lauder humming noise

Is the noise like a clacking going up in frequency along with speed. If so have outboard CV joint looked at. If not can you describe the noise"weird" just dosen't give me much insite.
