ABS/Traction control lights turn on while driving

You will need to get the ABS system scanned with a chassis scanner. ABS codes are "C" codes and autoparts stores can only scan "P" Powertrain codes.

Most of your more higher end code readers will scan abs systems generally the ones $100.00 and up. Here is a screenshot of one that AutoZone offers currently. One common thing that will trip the ABS light to go on and off is a failing wheel speed sensor. If one one them has a poor signal the light will come on sometimes. If its has no signal the light will always be on. You may have corrosion at the plug or dirt build up on one or more of them. Some of the parts stores do scan for free with a better scanner that will read ABS just give you local stores a call and ask if theirs does.
