My car has metal pieces in the transmission oil or something like that and i was wondering if you knew any place that would fix it cheaper than $1585. I am a 22 year old single mother of two and in desperate need of help. I had my car checked out and they told me that was how much it would cost to get fixed. I dont ahve any income Its hard finding a job. I you could please help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. My name is Brandy Neal of Indianapolis.

$1585 is not a bad price to R&R the trans.

The only other choice is to get a used trans and have it installed, honestly, I don't think you can buy a used trans (at least $500) and get it installed for less than $1585, but you can ask around and see.
