I had mechanic change transmission fluid and the next day stated slipping a bit. Checked stick and over filled. I called, he put two gallons of fluid it. So it is over filled. Is this causing the slip? Please need advise. Owners manuel sais 7.4 quarts. So he overfilled by a lot. Need advise. Thank you

Probably not causing the slipping, but filter may have not been put in all the way so it is not getting good supply. Drain out and pull pan and check to make sure not two o-rings in where filter goes into valve body. Then put one on and make sure filter is in all the way. There will be a screw holding it in or should be or a clip.
