Hesitates, poor gas mileage no check engine light coming on.

Check fuel pressure and spark first.

EGR flow at idle will cause engine to stumble and die.

MAF sensor SHOULD set a code. But remove the air hose to it and check for debris, DO NOT TOUCH wires in MAF.
