1999 Pontiac Grand Prix my air conditioner is working

When I bought my car the air conditioner and hear was working but the retard who owned it before me had some wire grounded to the cigarette lighter for the air conditioner and heat to work now the wire came off now the air condtioner is working anymore am I missing the piece that attaches to the wire is is my car wired wrong how do I fix it help

Hard to say why he would do that, most likely he wanted to avoid the expense of getting it fixed properly.

I guess you could attach the wire to the ground again.

It is very hard to diagnose electrical "rewiring" problems without looking at them.
