Hi:
Replacing the rack and pinion is an involved process with many steps. For me to try to explain it via the Internet allows too much room for error.

Because of the steering being a safety issue, I strongly recommend getting a good repair manual with step by step instructions and pictures to help identify parts. They offer one on this site if you're interested.
