Do you have a security light flashing? If so you must reset the security system.

Check the fuel pressure with mechanical gauge and check spark to isolate problem.

No security light. Starts easy then dies immediately. Do I need to check fuel system or computer system?
Have meter.

Yes check fuel pressure, it sounds like pump is energizing, then shutting off, engine would only run for a few seconds on a pressurized system with pump off.

May older GM cars use oil pressure backup system to start pump if FP relay fails, is oil pressure reading good?

Also if it has a security system, that may be the cause, you would have to reset the security system.
