Ok. It all started about a week or two ago on my way to a Bulls Game. I got on the expressway and as I was comin down the ramp my car cut-off, Stalled, started back up, then wheni tried to take off it did the same thing again. Finally it started moving and was really quiet!

It started 2 cut-off while I was driving but when I looked at the RPMs it was idling but not in gear. Once I put it in neutral it cut all the way off and start back up fine and jump back in gear once in drive.

Then my battery totally died WHILE I was driving home from work (I noticed the lights getting dimmer and dimmer as I drove then it jus stopped when I stopped) and I was stuck for about 2 hours then it miraculously started back up and I made it home.

The next day it stalled in front of my house and refused to start. I got it started and it cut-off at least 8-10 times on my way around the block to park it.

I went to start it and it would run for about 30sec. To a minute, lights would dim, and then it made a weird sound and then cut-off.

I replaced the BATTERY and the FUEL FILTER on it and it does the same thing still.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND HOW MUCH IT MAY COST?

Take car to any autoparts store and have charging system tested (free service). This would include alt. And battery as well as starter draw and drain test.
If alt. Is bad, you will soon ruin new battery. If alt. Is bad replace it.
