Hi, my father in law bought this car. It had been sitting for a year or so. Driven maybe once a month. After buying the car it ran for two days then died and will only start once in a great while. It will start with starting fluid and it has fuel pressure. I had the ignition module tested at O'Riely's and it tested good. I have read some posts about similar problems, but have not read many solutions. I have tried 3 different ECM's. All used though. But no luck.

If anyone can provide me with the pinouts of the four ecm plugs so I can make sure it is getting voltage that would be great. I have not tested the injection pulse with a noid light because we don't have an Autozone in town to borrow the noid light.

I am trying to troubleshoot as much as I can without removing the plenum to test each injector for a short.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

Noid light sets are usually $20 or less. But you want to test the injector pulse with a noid light first.

Also check injector fuses.

If injectors are not pulsing, then either a fuse or injector driver in ECM, or wiring to injector harness.
