I HAVE A 1999 PONTIAC GRAND AM SE, HOW CAN YOU TELL IF THE HUB BEARINGS NEED TO BE REPLACED AND ARE THERE ANY SIGNS TO LET YOU KNOW THEY NEED TO BE CHANGED?

Three most common symptoms are:
1-trac cntrl. Cel and ABS lights are on-(needs to be diagnosed further if so).
2- hum or rear heard while going straight, that pitch changes when turning or vere one way or the other.
3- play in the wheel assy felt when rocked back and forth with wheel off the ground.
