My car starts when it wants too. During driving my car perfoms very well. Just in the last week my car shut down while I was driving. I already have had a fuel pump put on. I have had my battery, starter, and alterantor checked, they say its fine. If I drive my car somewhere it may start to drive there but once I start it agin it wont crank for a long time or may not start at all.

Has the check engine light come on? Is the security light staying on when it doesn't start? Are you able to check if there is spark and fuel to the engine when it doesn't start?
