2001 Pontiac Grand Am leaking coolant

I am having a problem with the coolant leaking. First started out slow filling up the resevoir every couple days now its almost everyday. I jacked the car up and looked underneath it seems like the leak is coming from the front side of the engine. There is a circular object cylinder to the right of and below the oil filter that I could swear steam was coming out of. But with it dripping there is coolant in various places. And when I look at the ground its directly above the puddle.
