im interested in buying a car it has a small oil leak and I know that this is of some importance but I wanted to know is it that bad to where it cant be driven for the next 2 weeks to a month until my next payday.

Many cars are driven around wit oil leaks. Tnhere are basically 2 things that effect the decision.

1) How fast does it lose oil and be sure not to let it ever get more than 1 qt low.

2) What is it leaking on to. If it is dripping on to the hot exhaust that will at bare minimum smoke a lot and in some cases could catch fire.
