Oil Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure

1.Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement
2.Remove the oil pump.
3.Remove the drive shaft extension.

Installation Procedure

1.Install the oil pump.
2.Install the drive shaft extension.
3.Engage the drive shaft extension into the drive gear. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4.Install the pump to the rear bearing cap bolt.
*Tighten the oil pump mounting bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
5.Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement
6.Fill the crankcase with oil.
