Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Automatic

My car stalled yesterday. After sitting about 15 minutes it started. Drove about 3 miles, died again. Had it towed to shop. Once there, it started. They replaced fuel filter and said the old one was dirty. Took the car drove it last night and this AM, maybe 40 miles. Stalled again. It starts to lock up and then just dies. What do you think the problem is?
