19 y/o son is on NJ Turnpike, we live in CT. He is stuck, car stops running when he shifts from park to drive. Engine turns over but car shakes when you turn it on. Squealing noise when running, then turns off, steering wheel locks.

From what you have posted, it sounds like he ran it out of oil. Please advise.

It sounds like your converter is locking up and stalling the motor. Have the transmission checked.
