Power steering pump replacement?

I have a grinding noise when I turn my wheel to the right and only the right. So I'm pretty sure it's not power steering troubles. A mechanic told me to get this replaced would cost anywhere from 200 to 400 dollars. Is that true? Also how difficult is the procedure?
