Recently the car has been sluggish when I started it up. Just the initial two or three turns were sluggish and then once it started it would run fine. Occasionally the trunk also popped open when I would attempt to start it. Yesterday it stopped starting altogether. It turns over but it slow and then just won't start.

Ok if I understand correctly it turns over slowly but will not actually start? If this is correct I would like you to pull the battery out and take it to a parts store that does battery testing and test it. If you have a charger charge it first so it has a good charge before they test. Also ask that if the battery is low if they will charge it for free most will. Get back to me and we will see were to go from here.
